Because "grown men" may have other priorities for $4k other than a set of rims, therefore their jealousy is of the fact that some have that amount disposable income to spend on a set of wheels

Good for you.

Some have aspirations above what they can afford, and therefore they may state they are jealous - it is simply implying they would like to be able to afford what others have. You state "go and buy a set if you like them that much" which I'm sure they would do if they could afford it.

You have a nice unique car in that its a JDM RSK - old or not, I'm sure some people would say they are jealous of this. Doens't mean they have the funds or means to buy one.

Well said Lee :)

If no one ever looked up to someone/something that they wanted then it would be a case of never wanting to do any better at life. I have many other priorities right now which come before $4K on wheels, so until then I'm happy to perve!

Hmm, Norm's right! Connoisseurs are becoming commonplace. Clarence, sell me the wheels so I can destroy them and make my set more rare and valuable! :D
