No problem Adam. Happy with a 1 piece billet choice. Just posted those up for the profile shape.
Cheers

You could even look at doing gear knobs in copolymer like lathe werks:
http://lathewerks.com/shop/product_info ... cts_id=129

That way it can still be made on a lathe from one piece.

Thats not bad. If they can be made to fit the auto stick that would be pretty cool.

I wouldnt mind the Diamond Works logo embossed in there somewhere too.

I'll look into it!!

Need to come up with a smaller logo to emboss into items.
I've bought myself Coreldraw, so it's time to get creative :-)

How have i not seen this thread?!? Having seen the quality SI drive cover you've made, I'm keen for a knob and reverse ring

Happy to swap cars for a day or two if you need to use my knob.

The SI drive cover is quite light. is there any chance you could use a heavier metal for the gear knob? most aftermarket knobs are weighted so that is makes shifting into the gate easier.

Also, having the knob drilled deeper so that it sits lower (esp for the guys with billycorgi's short shifter) would be a really nice touch :)

Luckily, Craig had already informed me that it needed to be weighted.
Surely a heavier material like a steel would be heavy enough? Maybe that'd be too heavy.. its a fine line i'm sure. Might need you to test out a few prototypes for me Ryan!

Hey guys!
Interested in this idea Adam.

I would just like to give some ideas aswell
Instead of a spherical shape, I was thinking one like this:
http://www.dndperformanceinterior.com/p ... 3915229700
Obviously made of metal

And another example I came across was this shift knob:
http://www.raceseng.com/ashiko-shift-kn ... ual-gate-3
It's a good size and weighs 735g!

You might be able to do weighted inserts if it's not too complex.

Very interested in the reverse selector. I'd like to keep my current knob, MY15 STI knob. My reverse selector's paint is worn so a nice metal one would be awesome!
