Bugger! Shame I missed the meet up. Probably a good thing though - I dont think you guys would have liked to share what I had then.

On your video, the red car that you show as a 2.5 GTB is a pre-facelift 2.0 GT

Nice vid though. Any chance of an in car lap?

LOL I was waiting for some nerd like myself to point that error out. Unfortunately, its too late to change it on the youtube video.
No in car lap recording was made on the Oran Park track. When we take it to Eastern creek soon there will definitely be an in car camera with the same angle as the straight run video but with more of the windscreen to the the left of the shot showing the track.

Ok poeple, its perfect turbo weather now, even N/A engines feel more spritely. So lets make use of these dry but cool times and organise a meet and cruise.
Dates, venues and cruise route suggestions please.
Lets do this! :vensent:

Each to their own I guess. Displaying stickers from sponsors is a tuning industry standard, which I felt obliged to follow. Also, I like the stickers cuz I designed them... Most people who see them in the flesh like them too. BTW the ricer sticker isn't on my car though I do like that one alot
Whats a bov? If you mean 'blow off valve' there are none to see in these photographs its well and truly concealed. I drive this thing relatively sedately day to day on the roads and take it to track days and dragways to exercise its muscle that way I give the police little reason to be bothered by this car.
Heat was a predictable issue which was solved with ceramic coating and heat wrapping of the exhaust components afferent and efferent to the turbos, that in combination with the GT bonnet hood scoop further reduced bay temps by upto 40% in slow moving traffic situations and upto 60% at speeds above 40Km/H.

Is the entire car sponsored or just the major mods?

having a bi turbo sticker on the side , would be a reason for a cop to pull you over i would have thought...

are the mods declared to your insurer ??

Well not so far... But, thank you for your concern! Besides, by that convention or constitution, many and most performance cars, production or otherwise aftermarket homologated, worth a second glance these days would warrant the same! For instance other car manufacturers/tuners using similar Biturbo nomenclature and livery include; SMART, Mercedes Benz, Maybach, Brabus, AMG, Gemballa, Ruff, Patritti, 9ff and Maserati among others. And now Pulseracing.

Yes my insurer is well aware. Thankfully I'm well over 30yrs of age whith a long no claims bonus...

This thread is meant to be for arranging a meet/cruise... If you want to continue this line of conversation please move it to other more dedicated threads, within this forum, about this car.
Cheers, and happy threading! :D

Just the major Biturbo part, and certainly not the rest of the car
