Xmas Eve WSID

Postby Mick_Rex » Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:06 am

Guys, as the token Rex driver of the club, I feel its my job to push u guys harder lol....and after speaking to alot of you on Sunday about Quater mile times, no one had any idea what your cars actually did.

So this wednesday I was planing on taking my car to the Drags at Western Sydney International Dragway. Either to watch or race I haven't decided yet. Now i know next wednesday is Xmas eve, but for us without kids this shouldn't be a big thing and it closes at 10pm anyway so all is good even if you do have kidies.

Any interest? Just trying to get an idea of numbers atm.
And yes i know its late notice for some of you guys soz.

All u need is a car in good working order. Australian Standard approved Motorbike or Car helmet. Full length pants and shirt (i just wear jeans and a jacket) and fully enclosed shoes. $50 to run and $20 to watch.

Hope to see u guys belting down the track with me :)

Unfortunately, I will have to sit on my hands for this one. Audrey's family usually does the Christmas eve celebration rather than Christmas day so I expect we'll both be otherwise engaged.

Hope you have a good time. I expect to see some time slips. And some respectable times

Will do my best to be there :D

Will just have to play things by ear as family stuff tends to pop up a fair bit around Christmas.

Yeah unfortunatly it isn't the best time of year
but if u can sit there and wait 6 months to run your car your more than welcome lol
and anyway a bad launch will more than make up for the higher temperatures lol

no way....u cant bring the XR Mike
Subaru's only mate! lol
unless u take the XR in the burnout comp....then its ok :)

I'd love to but it's bad timing so close to Chrissy,
try again in the new year :)

Then again I think I have bucklys of putting the Lib down the 1/4 after my last effort. I broke both axles of my old car on the line & with no trailer to get the car or us home to Newcastle  let me say she was not happy
