As much as I love meeting the people that own the cars, I'm also there for the cars themselves. Unfortunately when it comes to night time meet ups, you only get the owner. The cars are left in the dark while the owners chat. On top of which, for those dinners at Hooters, by the time we get served and pay the bill and all that, there are a few people that have to leave already.

So my suggestion is:

- Meet during the day, perhaps at lunch time during the weekend. This allows for more people to come who have to work during the week. Also you can see other people's cars in day light, giving them a chance to see the mods they've read about on the forum. I've been dying to check out a few people's mods that they've posted on, but at night you simply can't see in great detail.

- Meet in a large, open area, like Homebush. Plenty of large parking lots near by in case you want to do group or single pictures. Want to hear someone's exhaust? Have them do a drive by, because there is plenty of room. That Hooter's parking lot leaves much to be desired. I see cars get lost behind 2 or 3 other cars, and it's a shame.

Anyway, just my 2 cents. As much as I love the owners, I'm mainly there for the cars!

I propose a night meet for those who work every weekend! LOL!

Plenty of places with sufficient lighting at night. We just for sum reason choose to go Hooters only.

Theres actually a parking section under woollies which has good lighting.

Theres reading cinemas with good lighting. Rhodes good lighting.

Walah!

That space has been chopped by 2/3! They are doing some sort of construction there and have blocked off a large chunk of it.
