Ok, bumping it up - Friday night, 7.00pm APK. We will get to meet Tangcla, have a chat and something to eat and then do a quick photo shoot of the cars. Play it by ear after that.

Post up if you can definitely make it, I'll have to book a table by Wednesday eve or Thurday morning at the latest so give me an indication, be nice to see some Canberra hospitality for an interstate visitor. All prior reasons for not being able to attend have been noted.

Been in Canberra for 20 yrs and never heard of the place, i'm from the North side, that's probably why, i never cruise to woden or the dirty sth lol

Well, so far there isn't a great deal of interest either here or Ozliberty. I will be giving Tangcla a "tour" of Parliament House on Friday so if dinner doesn't go ahead at least he'll have something to do.

Hey Tangcla, I should get you to bring the grille to my work, it's still with Alan at the moment - we live opposite sides of town and I have not managed to get over there yet. :wink:

I'm in. Where are we meeting???? I can make it at 7:30pm, and yes, canberra is a small place so I can make it most anywhere.

if the weather was good, then beside the lake (national gallery/high court/etc.) would be a good place for a photo shoot after the sun has set. I don't know if you'll want to photograph my car though, I just got back from sydney, and my car is dirty. I'll be able to clean it before friday, but I doubt that I'll have time to give it a wax.

Are we just doing a photo shoot? should I eat before I meet?

ok, do we just want to meet up at the lake then, near the portrait gallery/questacon? Eat before hand and save time and money, almost Northside that way too, so less complaints from the northerners about travel time etc.
