Canberra Liberty Meet Photos

Postby Akwoo » Wed Jan 30, 2008 10:30 pm

The rain didn't stop us, and overall it was an awesome night, top blokes, great steak and missing a white colour Liberty.
Here are some initial photos from the night, I'll process the rest later.

Nice to meet you all, mine does have that rust colour to it in that light. I kind of like it.

So, meet ups are bad. Now I want new rims, new springs, new strut bar, a new grille, a new front lip... etc etc .

Next time we meet at least i will have the tinting done, booked in for next Tuesday. :D

Two notable moments of the evening:
1) That 'random' indian guy turning up in his Gen3 because he saw all of our cars and us standing around.

2) Those drunk guys walking past the Libs when we were on the roof of the carpark and pointing to smileys car and saying "This one doesn't have a snail"

+1 from me.

We'll have to try to setup something regular even if it's coffee and it's bi-monthly.

Yep, informal is good. We could always try and make a cruise and then stop for coffee along the way or at the end too.

Not having two of the same colour was quite odd indeed.

Hey,

Nup wasn't too difficult at all - took me and my brother about an hour - mainly because we had to find the right size drill bits and jack the front of the car up one side at a time (and also triple checking drilling locations  ).

Putting it up on ramps would have made it a lot easier!

Look like a great meet guys!

Question for the grey spec B.... Did you not get a sunroof with ur car? I thought it was standard for spec b's.
