Adam is coming over from Sydney the weekend before Christmas and we have decided to meet up and it would be good to get as many SA Libs together as we can.

Adam, shall we aim for Sunday the 23rd Dec. Will you be in Adelaide by then? You said your family are in Glenelg which would be an ideal spot to meet. You have a couple of little ones and we have three (10, 7 & 5) so a family friendly spot would be good.

If others are interested, leave a post and we can work out the details based on people's responses.

Look forward to this.

Michael.

Hmmm... maybe we can start at the Bay in the afternoon and then have a cruise that takes us past Northgate for Chicken & Chips dinner!

Any ideas locals?

Michael.

there might be a slight plan tweak with my wife not being able to leave until the 22nd. we are still gonna get there on the 23rd but i'm pretty sure i'm not going to be too keen to drive on a cruise as i'll be doing the lions share on the trip over. we'll be staying in the cbd (miller st apartments) so maybe you or animal could swing by, pick me up and show off your car's mods on a bit of a run then we can go for a beer?
let me know how that suits you guys?

Here's a plan;

Adam are you coming over in your Liberty? If so it'll need a wash.

What if I swing past about 8pm and we'll go down to the car wash. There's a bunch of guys who frequent a local car wash and are very likely to be down there in the evening.

Animal will have a better chance to meet up with us after his work as well.

Check this Car Wash thread in the SA section of rexnet,

http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index.php?showtopic=80628&pid=1233127&st=190&#entry1233127

Always a good selection of Rexes, Evos and Audis. Not any other Libs but we can show them what class is all about. I've been down to one of these wash sessions and they're a good bunch.

For Adelaideans, it's the Mirror Wash on Payneham Rd on the left hand side going into town before you'd get to OG Rd.

Sunday 23rd December, from 8:30ish at Mirror Car Wash and then pizza etc afterwards if you're keen.

Post EOIs.

that sounds like an excellent plan michael,
yes we are bringing the gt.
Is this a hand carwash or a DIY jobbie?(pleasebehandpleasebehandpleasebehand.....)
of course this all depends on the trip running to plan.
i'm sure a few hours of "me" time will be deserved because by that stage i'll be feelin' a little  .

Yep, it's a do it yourself jobbie.

That time of the day we can probably sneak in a bucket and sponge to get off all the bugs you've accumulated between Sydney and here!

Animal, how does this suit you? I look forward to seeing your black beast.

Sunday 23rd December 8pm

Suds Up! car wash on Lower North East Rd Campbelltown (cnr Hambledon Rd)

This is not a cruise, just a chance to meet informally and give your ride a Christmas clean.

The owner of the car wash, Gerry, will be opening up the cafe on site for us from 8pm. Coffee, cake and drinks etc.

You'll find the car wash on Lower North East Rd on the right hand side going out of town after the North Eastern Community Hospital.

Enter off side street, Hambledon Rd but take care if your car is lowered and do what I do and do a U-turn on Hambledon and enter by turning left into the wash rather than a right hand turn. Exit onto Lower N E Rd is fine.

See you then,

Michael.
