Yeah I can do the 30th but I'll be twitching my right foot pretty bad all week!

So what are we doing?
23rd or 30th??

Thanks M.
If you are keen to go on 23rd do not worry about postponing it because of me, you can go with Dibbo and I will make my way on the 30th.
Cheers

It would be nicer to go when more of us can make it, my thought anyway.

I know the feeling. I said in my earlier most the later in the month the better for me since my knee is bugged and trying to get over this damn flu. I could make 23 but would be better if more of us could make the 30th. Hopefully you'll have your camera mount setup nicely by then. I think if you do make those you could flog em on eBay as I think i would buy one!

Here is a view from a back seat mounted camera of Wakefield's turn 4 that I came across on youtube

Is that what you had in mind when you mentioned stuff ups?

I wonder what happened to the guy in the video. His name escapes my memory at the moment. He used to be active on MRT and libertygt. He posted that video and we had a chuckle about his wild fish tailing at Wakefield.

Do you know him?
I hear he was keen on trying those same fishtailin' stunts on some famous european circuit (the name of the place escapes me) but failed miserably aparently due to being provided with an inappropriate vehicle. Closer to the truth (IMHO) is that he failed because he is a crap driver
I think he may be in exile on some other forum these days, some obscure place where they discuss Dynaudio Audience 42 and other gizmos.
Some say he can be seen around the legacy gt forum asking unclemat for advice on STI pink rates and that he listens to Brother Louie while racin' 'round the track :bye:

No idea who he is, but we just know him as the Stig.

Got ya car fixed yet??
Hope you'll blow us away with the new parts next week.

Was it a break upgrade? Turbo part?

LOL at the stig :)
Mods are nothing to get excited about but the car is getting there slowly, got the engine problem sorted -new intake hose and new cat and following that finally had a chance to get a decent tune on the dyno, still to come new pod filter, slotted rotors and pads...

I could make something for you provided I get some spare time on the weekend, I owe you one anyway, let me know.
Cheers

Dibbo,
Where abouts are you based?
Maybe we can cruise down to Wakefield together?
How is your camera mount going, need a hand with it?

I'm up on the northern beaches.
Will go by M2 onto the M7 and down that way.
Used to go the M5 but M7 is worth the cash that time of morning.

Aiming to leave here at about 7-7.30am as I will hit traffic no matter when I go coming from here

I'm a 115K/hr cruise control type of guy down the freeway but if you want to catch up at the Mobil at Pheasants Nest let me know. I guess this is the 1st easy place to meet [except it will be freaking cold there!]

Have a question on fuels - who uses what?
I use optimax [what ever it is now], voretex or any of the others any better?
Never something I have really given a huge thought to - until I want the go fast juice for next week.

I’m on the beaches too, maybe we can meet locally, pick up “black GT” along the way (he is a short trip off M2 so we can get him to wait for us somewhere on M2/M7) and proceed?

I use Vortex 98.

You don't owe me anything, i'd be happy to pay for it though.

I live just between the M2 and M7 so if you guys could get me on the way then that would be great. I can be the meat in the wagon sandwich

Cool - where & what time?

I'm near Mona Vale so I'll be going Mona Vale Rd - so want to meet at St Ives Driver Training?
Depends which end the beaches you I guess?
You going Forrest Way & up or MV Rd as well?

You pick one and a time - let me know.

Where do we meet ya Black GT?
Roberts Rd somwhere? I dont know too may spots that way other than the main drags? Let us know.

Vortex hey? I have no idea on the differences as everyone says they are best.
Any comments or ideas on different types [or know a web site that does]?
I just use The shell 98ron so intereted to see if the others are actually better in any way.
