Postby scottmcphee » Sat Nov 30, 2013 2:21 am

Black Friday is an American retail invention sales opportunity. I'm Canadian, and we see Black Friday infiltrating over the border north to us. In that spirit, I created a Black Friday to Cyber Monday (the other online retail invention) sale that I'm extending to you in Australia / area. So now that you're "infected"...

Introducing TapTurn with a new option called StrobePack, being offering a special Black Friday (to Cyber Monday) price that includes free shipping, worldwide. Woo hoo!

If you've been waiting to order hit the Black Friday special buy button now:
http://www.autowindow.com/orderT.html

If you've been thinking of TapTurn... take another look at new StrobePack option, which just sweetens the deal even more. Now is a pretty convincing time to buy.. ;)

If you have no idea what this is all about, read about TapTurn - the best signal flasher for your car with convenience signaling...
on my web site http://www.autowindow.com/orderTAP.html, is a good place to learn

Follow its development over time on various threads on this forum, like these:

If you've recently purchased TapTurn without StrobePack and wish you knew about this announcement coming, and now want this option... it can be added to your unit at a very reasonable cost. Part of this BLACK FRIDAY special is this StrobePack upgrade done for $38 AUD. Just get your existing TapTurn unit back to me, PayPal the money, and I spin it around same day with the retro fit and out on next shipping day. You'll get your unit back, with StrobePack added, and new operating instructions. >> BEFORE RETURNING units PM me for details to avoid delays and extra charges! <<

Cheers!

Does anyone know if there's any law around signal type for turning indication?
Would the strobe pattern shown on the site be considered legal here? Or is there something that states for indication that the turn signal must blink consistently?

Thanks,

Brian

Without checking the ADR's, I think the required flash rate is 60-120 per second.

I'm fairly sure most licensed vehicle testers (Vic) would not pass them for a Roadworthy .......but it does look cool!

You can select mode of strobes, and even shut strobing off temporarily... for things like vehicle inspection.

Just using ign key, hazard button, and signal stalk... change the strobe mode to one of:

1. all strobing off, all other tapturn features working
2. strobes the hazards + modifiers (wig wag, slow mo) but only while ign=off
3. strobes the hazards + modifiers whenever they are used, ign on or off
4. strobes hazards + modifiers, and also strobe signals
