New MY10 Liberty GT Owner (G'day PHATGT!)

Postby slang » Sun Sep 12, 2010 9:37 pm

G'day,

Bought a black wagon for the Mrs back in May. Our first Subaru and first turbo car. Looks great in the garage next to my black SRT8.

Now time for some mods. What do you all recommend? And where from? I just read that PHATGT is the man to talk to. Where do we find him?

The Subaru dealer referred us to Liverpool Exhaust, Sydney. Great service. They are recommending cat back in stainless with 2.5" from cats splitting into twin 2" pipes to the rear. We want sound but no drone. Is this a reasonable approach? (booked in for sat 18th Sept unless we hear of something else here).

Other things of interest are custom tuning, cold air intake, and potentially lowering. Then the wheels.

Love to have some ideas. Pockets are not too shallow, but not too deep either!

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Thanks guys.

We have the 300C SRT8. Been trying to sell it but nor prepared to give it away.

We did look at the Jeep SRT8 for the Mrs but couldn't bringing ourselves to buy a car several years old with heaps of KM's (and wear and tear) for the same price as a new GT wagon.

Not regretting it one bit.
