Hi Guys , just come over from the Oz Liberty site.

I have just purchased a black 07 Liberty taxi for my wife to transport my children around.
I am very impressed with this vehicle as it the first 4 cyl I have owned.
My wife is getting used to having less than 250 Kw under the right foot too !

Looking at all the guys on this site with turbos maybe I should of optioned up for a GT.

Thanks

Will do as soon as i can wash it . This is what happens when you buy your wife a nice black car , in 2 minutes is is filthy + it has been raining here in Melbourne .

Yeah , I know . The novelty has worn out after 3 weeks !

Actually I am not 100% happy with the paint.

Is there any other owners of 07 libertys with orange peely paint ?

I had a holden with better paint than this and Subaru said "That is how is is " and offered to polish the car again !!

Yeah seems like all the black libs that ive seen have the "orange peel" effect happenin. When i first saw it on my car i was like whats the go? but thats how it is apparently :dntknw:

I think subaru needs to fine tune their black painting technique.

My old atlantic blue pearl liberty didnt have any ripples in the paint work, dunno if any other colours do.
