Hello all,
Just joined a post ago, I have been v8 mad all my life and i`m on my 3rd Subaru. The first was in thelate 70`s a dl1400,my wifes. The second a 04 premium wagon auto wich was a nice car and thats all it was. Whilst driving it afew weeks ago a black Lgt pulled beside me at the lights on the inside and i closed the door on it ,because she let me!. It soon passed and moved ahead in the traffic ,quite easilly. It had MY08GT plates and looked very much asleep.
So I sold mine and purchased a MY09GT SpecB wagon with 16k on the clock. Great car and has definatelly replaced my v8 passion prior the 04 wich saved heaps on fuel. P.S i got some really suited plates from the RTA for $100 bucks. After seeing the 08 in the traffic it was like i was meant too own this car and get the matching plates.
Dave

Welcome Dave.
I'll forgive you living south of the border, especially as you have a real Subaru- welcome to Team Wagon.
Not many of us with a 6mt, a real sweet cogswopper, with excellent ratios.
Yes, do beware of the Phat Man, but, he is guaranteed to increase your fun factor.

P.s. It's a bit hard to see with the angle of the photo, but you shouldn't park the car with one side higher than the other. This will quickly wear out your springs, dampers and swaybar bushes. Since it's a tight street you're better parking the whole car up onto the nature strip. It's illegal, but so is what you're doing now anyway ;)

I agree with your advice completely. The road is narrow and very cambered on this side and the car sits quite neutral when parked in this position. Most of the time i park in the driveway or on the nature strip as the gaiwoo ,oil leaker, from next door parks there.
Regards Dave.
P.S. Hope fully my plates turn up this week!
