Hi everyone,

My name is Monty, I have been a member for a while now and thought I should let you all know a bit about me.
I purchased my GT in January at the start of the year just over the border in NSW.
Since then I have been very happy with my car and have only done a few small modification but plan to do more!!!

Ride: 2004 MY05 2.0L GT Manual ( Red ).

Location: Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Mods: Genuine STI short shifter, Apexi turbo timer, Whiteline rear sway bar.

Plans: I hope within the next 6-12 months I can spare the funds for the following

Full turbo back exhaust ( from what I have read on hear I am currently thinking that PHAT GT would be the best person to source that from?).

Some sort of intake system.

A new clutch(need that asap as its starting to slip under spirited driving conditions! any suggestions would be great!).

And would love to get a good tune once I have those items :D

Occupation: I work full time in marketing.

Year of birth: 1988

Interests: Obviously cars! I love driving my little baby.

Previous Rides: My first car was a 1997 Subaru Impreza RX 5MT, I loved that car for my first car but was so happy to upgrade to the GT!!!

I have found these forums very useful and informative in the past few months, thanks for all the great topics and posts guys. Keep up the good work!

Cheers

Monty.

Thanks for the welcome mate :)

sounds like I'll chat to Jim then when I have the money together

LOL, yeah I can imagine that Phat would have a huge line of eager customers! his products look great, sound great and also appear to be very well made!
I might have to wait in line with everyone else... cant afford all of what I want right now anyway so that would be fine as long as I can get some at some stage not too far down the track.

Cheers

Welcome mate.

A great looking GT you've got.

This forum has a habit of emptying your wallet quickly... Don't say we didn't warn you. LOL.

Cheers

Nice unique colour :) You got one of the first turbo 5speed gen4s, so you're pretty lucky as I couldn't extend my budget to buy an MY05 GT so I had to settle for the MY04 2.5L since a manual box was on top of the list.
