hey guys quick intro.

im Ricco im 20 male from sydney on his red p's well until a week ago go caught at 4 in da morning on the M4 doing 145kms, was not racing was tired needed to get home from a friends place anyways, i drive a 2009 pearl white liberty 2.5 with currently only 7200kms on the clock. got her brand new at a price tag of 32k, so excited as its my second car comeing from a 1974 MGB GT.

i would say that the 09 liberty is the best shape the libertys have been for years and still look dam hotter then the 2010 liberty.

mods that im looking at doing are:
some 19" black deep dish black inserts with chrome lips rims
a GT bonnet with a rectabgle KN&N filter on the inside
GT Grill
Brembo Brake kit
looking at some of the exhaust systems or from the cat back the MRT do.

here is some pics of her sitting at the warehouse at my work.

and one of here at my house.

welcome. glad to see another 20 y.o. but red p's? ive been on my fulls ever since i was 20 y.o and 2 days. :D

btw, if you want brembo's, those rims wont fit them, so sell them to me!! also, there is no such thing as a GT grill, all grills for the liberty's are the same except the MY08 tbsti's which have a spec b honeycomb grill.

enjoy the forum!

Welcome to the forum!

If you buy new GT bonnet from Subaru you will be looking at around $1000 unpainted.

So did you lose your license the other day or did you get let off?

Hey,

Nice ride...

Just personally, I wouldnt be putting a GT bonnet scoop on a N/A car - bit wanky...
And as for the brembos, not really necessary for our cars (2.5is)... If your going for that look though, id suggest you paint them red (you can DIY or ozzy tyres will do for $100), and you can get some subaru or brembo decals off ebay to put on them... Far cheaper than the $6000 it will cost for brembos

ok to answer a couple of questions.

first yes i did lose my license plus a $2000 fine meeh what ever no car driving for 6 months allows me to do some mods.

second i will be putting the honeycomb grill i think???

third yes the filter will go on the inside to stop some of the shit flying in

fourth the gt bonnet on a 2.5 i looks so fucking sexy

fith i dont plan to own the libs for the next 3 years i get my full then so i can get a real GT

sixth the brembos not to sure atm wuld look so sexy butttttt 6k hahahah

seventh ric the forum owner we have some things in common my real name is also ricc well riccardo for long or ricco or ricc for short

eighth the mgb gt does not come standard with a v8 in it, my old man is currently putting a 7 litre v8 in his crazy not much enginering needing to be done they can one stage been brought from factory with the v8s in them

Look forward to seeing the mods :D. Are you looking at tracking your car? (Hence fitting the Brembos). If you are I would suggest suspension first as the 2.5i stock suspension can be improved substantially with only a little work and then the rabbit hole is as deep as you wanna go :D
