Newbie from Newcastle

Hi Folks,

Having spent a month or so looking at the various Liberty/Legacy forums around, thought it was about time to sign up to one and introduce myself.

I bought an 07 Liberty GT-B Wagon (Peal White, Auto, Satnav) a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier with it (only paying about 55% of the new car price helps). It's completely stock at present but I'm planning on doing an ECU re-map, new exhaust, Sti springs and some brake upgrades when I can get the finance minister's approval :D

I've downloaded the ecu maps and have done some data logging (My Tactrix cable arrived in 2 working days from the US - amazing!!), so already have some questions I'll post in the appropriate section of the forum.

Oh, almost forgot - I'm 41, work as a project manager and have a pretty ordinary car ownership history: Mazda 808, XD Gia 351 (old school street machine with big $$ spent), Mazda 323 SS, ED Falcon, VT2 S-Pack crummy-door (bought new, worst car ever!), N15 Pulsar, Mazda3 MaxxSport (current 2nd car).

Cheers.

Welcome Nigel.

And +1 for another wagon!! :good:

Plenty of info on here about tuning our 2.5T's and more opinions than you can poke a stick at too!

Enjoy your stay mate.

BTW - what state you in and remember to post up some pics.

Nice car and nice price. Love your choice in colour too - wish there was a wagon around when I was looking! And as the others have said, post up some pics when you get the chance.

Thanks for the welcome guys - the car's filthy at the moment but as soon as I give it a wash, I'll post some picks. I'll look forward to picking the brains of the forum guru's when I start to tune up the car.

Cheers,
Nigel

Hi Folks,

Finally got the car clean and took a couple of half-decent pictures, so here it is.

Cheers,
