Introduce yourself

Finally I say Hi!

Postby adhar » Sun Jun 07, 2009 2:57 pm

Hi guys,

I've been reading the forums or a few weeks or more now, but thought it's finally time for me to introduce myself.

Name: Andrew
Ride: MY05 GT Auto
Location: Melbourne, Healesville
Mod: Springs, tune, EDIT: wheels
Plans: Proper suspension
Occupation: Electricity retailer
Year of birth: 1985
Interest: Racing
Previous Rides: Liberty Gen 3

As i've been reading though the posts on this forum for a bit i know you are all going to ask to see photos so i have preempted this request and here is some photos!

My Dad and I have a WRX that we race on the track, but i decided to put my Lib on the track at Winton, just for a laugh. The rubbish road tyres tried to say no, but i said yes!

Body Roll!!

I've been in the WRX club for a couple of years now, so most of my knowledge is about WRXs but i'm learning about the Liberty, it's amazing how much is similar, but everything is that little bit more intricate on the Libs.

Here's the Rex going 'round Sandown.

Anyway, i hope you guys will have me on your forums, you all seem very knowledgeable, which is a pleasant change from some other forums! lol

"AAAHH!!!" LOL! I love that plate. Very becoming of what to expect from a ride in a GT. :D

But welcome Andrew! You've picked up a great car there! You're right about the WRX and the Liberty being similar but the Liberty having a lot more intricasies to it. In general it's similar, but when applied to the Lib is mostly never works. Otherwise we'd all be sporting WRX mods on our cars already! :D

Btw you forgot to mention Spec-B wheels to your list of mods! That's a change from stock, even if it is for another stock component. :P

yes, the wheels. I did forget those.

They were courtesy of Sentinel. Not a mark on them, obviously he is a good parker!

The plates, my initials are AH, but AH was already taken, so i added a few more letters and ended up with AAAHH!

You might like the number plates for the STi as well, below:
