Name: nicam ( couldn't think of a nickname, just saw the first thing I looked at; wording on my old vcr)
Ride: MY08 GT wagon
Location: NSW Wollongong
Mod: nil
Plans: not intending to carry out any mods. may be spec b wheels
Occupation: Structural Engineer
Year of birth: 1972
Interest: play football (soccer) enjoying time with my family & driving the Lib!
Previous Rides: toyota camry( I know... :oops: ), Holden commodore, MY06 2.5i safety.

I just love these cars, when I got my first Liberty, coming from a commodore (which had more power) I loved the way it handled, the feel and the uniqueness of the boxer engine. naturally after having the 2.5i for 3 years, which was a great car I traded it in for a GT wagon. Mainly because I have an expanding family and wanted a bit more power. I only just picked it up 1 day ago (4100ks on the clock, owned by subaru australia) and coming from the 2.5i to 2.5T, I only have one word... brilliant! :D
Previous MY06 2.5i safety sedan. Now MY08 GT wagon.

There's a thread started about a week ago that asks how your username came about... Guess you've answered that one!

I note your comment about no mods at all and then a maybe of Spec B wheels... Trust me, the bug will bite! This forum is all about temptation, and a heap of great blokes who all love the Lib.

So enjoy the mad house!

Only question left is what color is she?

she's steel silver. which was the same colour as my previous MY06 but the colour was called urban grey. it seems subaru changes the urban grey in the MY07 model to a darker grey, more like charcoal grey.
Previous MY06 2.5i safety sedan. Now MY08 GT wagon.

Welcome champ, as sent said. The modding bug will bite down and sink its teeth in real deep when you speak to some of the other members who have/having the mod bug chewing on their wallets

1972! That's my birth year too! Welcome 'same year delivered' mate! :D Hope you enjoy the site. DO NOT get started on any mods. Not even wheels. Once you start with the one, along comes another. Then another. Next thing you know it's snowballed into a long list of mods.

I got the excatly same way of thinking as you b4!! but only lasting for few weeks..............I can tell 'the bugs is biting me" :skull: since I hv had my 3.0RB only for 2 mths!! Cheers!! :lol:
