Another Newbi - GT-B!!

Postby Sentinel » Sun Feb 22, 2009 9:01 pm

Howdy folks!

I can't believe that I've owned my car for almost 2 years and I've not found this forum earlier!! Shesus!! Anyway, what a great bunch of info you guys have got. And, your cars look brilliant!!

So - according to the format in the sticky:

Name: Steve (been called Tiny before - I'm 6'6")
Ride: MY07 Black GT-B, manual ............................... Wagon - flame suit on!
Location: Melbourne - SE 'Burbs
Mod: Ah - none! YET!!
Plans: I'd love to do tune, zorst, suspension and interior...
Occupation: Property
Year of birth: '76
Interest: My new son (lil 6 week old!), wife (better put that in just in case the missus jumps in here!), driving, cleaning the car!, basketball, tennis, ex-gym junkie, run, ride, beach, life!
Previous Rides: Um, here's the list:
First car - Falcon XC!!
Then Ford NL Fairlane Ghia V8 - heavily modded.
Then Ford BA XR8 - heavily modded.
.. BMW E39 540 M sport. Stock. National Show and Shine winner.
Last car was a Ford Fiesta LX - yep lil rocket!

Looking forward to picking your brains and letting the mod bug finally out of the bag... (Much to the missus pain!)

Cheers guys.

I'm 4" shorter than you and my driving position is compromised because my head touches the roof lining, you must be poking yours through the sunroof!

coyote - I'm like that giraffe in the RAV 4 ad with it's head sticking out of the roof!! Seriously, it's all in the legs! I was going to have the seats modified when I bought the car, but I was shown how to set up the correct driving position about 1 week after I picked up the car and now I'm really comfortable.

hi guys, thanks for all your welcomes.

Lil one loves the wooooooosh from the turbo!! Haha! I dunno about the cornering yet though - lil head doesn't quite stay where it should!! Funny to watch! Oh, and the missus hasn't twigged that I'm on a forum... looking to mod the car!! Uh oh!! Better duck for cover when she finds out! 8)

I can't believe how many nice cars there are on this forum! My mind was swimming last night with idea's!! The forum might be free but sh#te, I think it will cost me BIG time!

Cheers
