Hello Fellow Members, I found this site via a member of the OzFoz Forum.

I don't own a Liberty any longer I moved across to a Forester, as much as I loved my 01 RX Liberty the boot was just too small for us when we were travelling and now I have fallen in love with my 03 XS Forester whom I call "Casper" because it's as white as a ghost and it's friendly.

Welcome Pedro! Liberty owner or not, we welcome everyone who just wants to chat and exchange ideas. Post up pics of your Forester when you have the chance!

I've got to ask, why didn't you look at a Gen 3 Liberty wagon? Much better looking then a Forester IMO.

Phil you are very astute mate, my wife wants to go back to a Liberty but only for the seats, the Forester seats are nowhere as comfortable as our old Liberty however they are both built for different purpose hence the harsher seats in the Foz.

I on the other hand love the ride height of the Forester when in traffic, it's higher than sedan but not up in the clouds with big 4x4's and the seat is at the right height to just slide in & out there is no climbing up or down to get into it which suits my bad back fine in that respect.

Don't be concerned that you no longer have a Liberty, at least you've remained faithful to the brand with your Foz.

When I decided to get a Liberty, it was after having ridden in a Forester that belonged to a friend of mine. I was impressed with the road handling and build quality of the Foz and started looking at all of the Subaru models to decide on what suited me best.
