Name : Lok
Car : Silver MY05 3.0R
Location : Brisbane
Occupation : I.T. technical consultant
Age : 42
Mods : None yet, waiting for delivery of vehicle
Future Mods : new audio system, exhaust then maybe HIDs.
Previous Rides : XB Falcon GT hardtop, Mazda RX4, Datsun 200B SSS coupe ( turbo charged ), Datsun 260z 2+2, Chev Camaro Z28 IROC-Z, EF Falcon XR6, Jaguar XJ6 series II ( 289 windsor V8 ), Audi A4 Quattro 30 valve V6, Subaru Liberty 2.5.
Interests : Music, Hi Fi and vintage valve electronics

Nice forum you have here and even though I have only registered in the last couple of days, PHAT GT has been of great assistance to me last year when I first became a Liberty owner.

I don't think I can sleep tonight knowing that I'll be collecting my Soobie tomorrow arvo ! YAY !

Welcome Loweart. Yeah, I was so anxious to pick mine up I couldn't wait the extra day - I got things rushed through and picked it up the day before.

Is yours a Spec B?

Oh, and your falcon. Was it an EF or an XF 'S' Pack?

Thanks for the welcome Symthie and pointing out my typo in the listing of previous rides. Yes, it was an EF Falcon XR6 in metallic navy blue. Funny you should mention that you got things rushed through so you pickup your car a day early, it's exactly what I have done. I was meant to pickup the car this Friday but have bumped it up to today.

Mine is the 3.0R, must be getting older not to be able handle the firmer Bilstein suspension :lol: Actually, just happy to be finally able to find a 3.0 for sale that is in the right condition and price. :D

Near Mt Gravatt is very handy and accessible too !

That's one sweet ride you have there and I'm sure it brings you many smiles :D

Speaking of smiling, I knocked off work for the afternoon to pickup my 3.0R a day early and on the way home I picked up my new 2DIN headunit, ext SAT nav box and Bluetooth kit, YAY !!!!

No guesses on what I'll be up to this coming weekend ! :idea:

Hi Lok and welcome to the site.

Also in the MtGravatt area, and am sure I have seen the XR6 on the road.
Brother-in-law has a XB Hardtop. Was a lame 6cyl. Since has put in a 351, tricked up the motor, suspension (panhard rod & 9" rear end), wheels/tyres, brakes & HO fuel tank. Spent more on it than most would spend on their boat!!! The family calls it a bucket of bolts, but shit it goes!!!!
Ex-rotisserie man. I had a RX2 & RX3. Much work on it?
Z28 eh??? Good gear!!!
Enough of the Falcons, who did the heart transplant on the XJ6? Would have been a nice little sleeper.
That Phatman is quite contagious!!

Will you retain rego. LOK-01?
