Just purchased an MY09 GT Spec B 2.5t auto wagon as a cheap in-between performance daily.

Was looking at getting a GT 12 years ago, but ended up going down the euro car path. I now finally get to experience what living with a GT feels like.

Plans are to get it serviced, get the tyres replaced (mismatched Chinese brands on it at the moment), possibly look at upgrading the stereo and maybe some performance mods.

Is the standard exhaust supposed to be really quiet? I know it's not a WRX, but it's so quiet! I've previously had a VW R36 (similar class of car) and yes that was a 6, but the standard exhaust sounded a lot fruitier.

Awesome, is your car an Gen4 or GenV?

Yes the stock exhaust is quite quiet as befits the top of the range luxury grand touring model.

Awesome, check my member profile, it has an up to date list of my mods, most of which have been in use for 5-10 years, a just right for me setup covering exhaust, audio, handling, interior & exterior.

Gen4 are still a great buy, affordable to maintain and comprehensive aftermarket support.
