Hi new member from VIC

Just bought a Tuned by STI Liberty, picking it up next week (hopefully) but excited to be back in a Subi

Had a 2005 STI, R32 Golf, 2014 STI, Jeep SRT and now back in to a Subi as my "fun car" will post some pics and more details when I get it

Welcome. Nice pickup too.

Planning on messing with it or keeping it more-of-less as-is?

Good choice. The 07-09 model GTs are my favorite shape. You have had some quick cars in the past, I hope you are not too disappointed in the Lib if it is stock. The extra 300+ kg compared to your sti etc slows the Libs down a fair bit. Looking forward to seeing the photos.

Thankfully the previous owner has already done most the hard work

STD Coilovers
Whiteline rear sway-bar
VF52 turbo with stainless braid oil feed (bolt-on upgrade)
X-force turbo back and Invidia Q300 exhaust
Process West Intake
Process West Top Mount Intercooler
HKS EVCS 3 Port Boost Solenoid
DW Fuel Pump
Cusco catch can

Ah.. That all sounds like a very nice combination. I have very similar except mine has TEIN coilovers and slotted rotors all round. It makes 180kw on only 16lb of boost.

This also has DBA T2 Rotors front and rear with Project mu HC pads front and rear.
And it's been tuned (apparently 197kw atw)

I am thinking it will be more than enough (for now  )

One question if I may, have you upgraded the head unit by any chance? this still has the original sound system and I am looking for a nice Android wireless system and keen to see others would recommend etc

Nice collection of mods there. Right in the "bang for buck" sweet spot. Other "incremental improvement" stuff might make sense "while we're there" if other work is being done later, but for now that seems to be a nice setup.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps a second catch can. Assuming the first one is on the crank breather circuit, a second catch can can go on the rocker cover breathers circuit. TBA on whether it catches anything there. On petrol my rocker covers catch can caught [very little/nothing], while on E85 it collects plenty of water vapour and some oil.

Mine has an Alpine system which I am very happy with. It has all the usual input modes plus a usb in which has a pin with 1500 tunes and the car kit, from what people have said sounds like I am holding the phone in my hand. It has a very handy pocket above it and 1000wt Alpine amp under the passenger seat and a 10" sub in the boot that faces through the rear seat center armrest and all the other speakers have been replaced with better quality ones while others like the center of the dash and the stock woofer on the parcel shelf are there but not connected. The head unit can be upgraded to the latest Alpine software via the usb port (cable inside the glove box). Very nice quality clear sound.

Appreciate the feedback and will keep that in mind for sure!

Yeah nice, I am on the hunt for somewhere to upgrade mine, not sure If I should do something similar to yours or go with a touch screen, the only place I have found locally replac the top fascia with a 10" screen but I think I would prefer it to do down the bottom

The replacement climate control small din unit is available from Subaru and I believe at the time of this conversion, all paid for by the original owner, was $600+ .
