Hi, all
I'm Matt, been a long time liberty driver after I fell on love with my first. In 2018 I bought a 94 lib sedan ej22 5spd, and i was hooked.
I'm 38, from a place called Casino in Northern NSW. Growing up there was a big ford vs Holden rivalry around town and I asloncame from a Holden family...
NOT ANYMORE...
Since that first 94 sedan 5MT 2wd ej22, I have had a 98 wagon 5MT EJ25, 91 sedan 5MT 2wd ej22, 99 wagon 5MT EJ25, 01 wagon 5MT EJ22 DOHC NA (Want like a shower of shit in the 91 2wd sedan), 01 Outback 4AT, 91 JDM wagon 3AT Twin Turbo

Now I own an MY07 LIBERTY GT-B BL9 5EAT, silver, black leather upholstery, sunroof, factory suspension, Timms (unsure but look nice) and came with as far as I can tell, silicone inlet pipe, BOV, Catch Can, Cat Back 2.5in exhaust. (SS maybe?).stock headers and up pipe, SS Cold air intake /filter

I have purchased and am awaiting arrival of : Empire performance 3in Cat back exhaust, Empire performance 3in race spec down pipe, 1 bar wastegate actuator, and a PITS tune on the GC.
That along with the SI drive should be enough for me to have a quality daily driver, with a fun mode for the weekends, and an "I'm alone on a road I know at a time when there is no one else on it" mode (I live really with very little traffic)
I am thinking of using an old set of factory headers I purchase off of I think an old WRX from Brisbane way, to use as they have been flowed nicely anyway. I'm toying with the idea of (pre tune ) chopping up the old cat down pipe (it was NA) and making a turbo up pipe with it as it is the perfect length and diameter, but needs the bends and flanges rotated a little...
That will complete my mods for now. Will possibly increase turbo size in the future, but mainly for CFM and not PSI.

Well guys, I've bored you enough for now, and I'm sure I'm going to be asking some stupid questions relating to the GT and forced induction in general, but I reckon I'll be throwing you a few curly ones too at some point.

Cheers for reading.
Matt.

Hi Mat... Would be nice to see some pics.. Ps.. good posts are never boring.. I have an Xforce exhaust and a Megan Racing downpipe. I am putting on a high flow cat to try and quieten it down. It sounds good but too loud for my liking.
