Enjoy.
Personally, I found the Macintosh to be very good audio wise.
Naturally it's missing all the modern features (aux-in, Bluetooth etc) that many expect nowadays.
I assume you realise the speaker wiring all goes to the power amp under the passenger seat, which is not easy to connect to other head units.

My 07 GT had the Macintosh replaced with an single din Alpine system. It also has splitters under the dash for upgraded speakers in the doors and 2 speakers in each door are no longer attached, neither is the one in the middle of the dash. The 2 rear shelf speakers have been replaced with better ones and the rear sub has been replaced with a 10" sub that faces forward and with the arm rest in the back down the sub is right there .. It has bluetooth, USB inlet in the glovebox,CD tuner and aux. The phone is awesome clear as a bell for me and whoever I am talking to. The head unit itself can have software tweeks from Alpine downloaded via bluetooth from the phone. There is a 1000wt amp under the passenger seat and it sounds awesome. Clear at any volume but could give serious ear damage if you were silly with it.

You’d need to describe the issue, eg is tha fault a door lock actuator, or the key not working to lock the doors?

The key fob will open the left front door only , doesnt open boot,

the key in the drivers door only locks and unlocks itself, no other doors

the button on the drivers door only locks and unlocks the passenger front door,

Sounds a lot like the solenoid mechanism in the driver's door is unplugged.
(Either electrically or mechanically)
