Hi all

Second foray into Subaru after owning a brand new wrx club spec 6 back in 03. Needed a daily after selling my mint Evo vi so looked around and saw the liberty advertised with 57k on the clock.

Very impressed with power and torque deliveryfor an NA with 115kw. Handling is very impressive though the leather seats not very supportive. Car in good condition overall. Got crappy Chinese Goodride tyres but they are new and handle alright so will use them till they wear off then switch to proper ones.

Need of a service so it’s off to HCW in boxhill for that, full inspection including clutch (squeaky pedal when cold), fluids etc and timing belt.

Other than that, had a guy come out on weekend and gave the interior a full detail, got the key fob to work (the plugs were connected under the kick plate). Need to replace the antenna, need a driver side tweeter cover, couple of bits and pieces. Eventually new front glass.

Future plans will be a whiteline rear sway bar, not sure what else is worth doing on these cars. Bushes still feel good being low kms.

Looking forward to interacting with people here
