New Subie Owner! - 2010 Liberty GT Premium

Hey guys...

Brendan from Lane Cove here!
Recently picked up a low KM Charcoal Gen5 2010 Subaru Liberty GT Premium, after driving a 2004 Toyota Caldina import.
It had only done 41,000 logbooked km's, so it drives and feels like a new car.
Absolutely loving it, but figured I should do some work to it early, so I can enjoy the mods the most!

Took it to Tunehouse on thursday, and got a major service, and the following fitted..

Whiteline Swaybars, front and rear.
DBA Slotted discs, front and rear.
Bendix Ultimate Pads front, and Standard Pads rear (Nothing else available!)
Invidia Dump Pipe
K&N Panel Filter

and finally:

A full ECU-Tek Tune, to suit the dump and panel.

Tunehouse also torqued the suspension to factory settings, and did a full wheel alignment and balance.
... and WOW what a difference when it was all said and done.

The brakes are super responsive, and much better than they were before.
The car now turns much more responsively even at very low speeds, and turns in a lot better. I expected the swaybars to have an effect when drivig spiritedly, but didn't realise how they'd have an effect all the time..
And there is a shitload more power too! Stock it was dynoed at 135.47kw at the wheels, and 284nm, and after the tune it's now 167.71kw at the wheels, and 440.9nm... which is a massive improvement. I was expecting maybe 20kw if I was lucky, but not 32kw... that would mean it's about 235kw at the engine now.

Looks stock at this stage. Might keep it that way, not sure :)
Will post some pics later!!
Attached is the dyno sheet though!

Nice one - auto or manual?

I ask because I don't know whether Ecutek does/can run some auto protection values as part of it. Matt (Kido) does with his Auto tunes - help the auto survive all the extra Nm cranking through...

This is an Auto, as my wife can't drive a manual, and we almost divorced trying to teach her :P

But's it's not the CVT! It's the 5 speed tiptronic auto.

The dump pipe was an Invidia dump pipe, bought through Tunehouse.
They did the tune (and have done quite a few of them). Not sure about if they did any Auto protection stuff..
I asked them not to go too crazy with it, as it's a daily driver, so they did make it a little conservative.

It's quite a lot of fun to drive now, while still being dosile and easy when your foot is off the pedal. The extra torque is nice though, in that you don' have to change gears nearly as much and it still picks up well!

I mode is left at about 5psi, S mode is standard boost (I think it's 12 or 14?), S# was up to about 19PSI or so from memory. Haven't got a boost gauge so not 100% sure though.
I put it back in "I" mode whenever I get out of the car :P (Don't want the wife driving in S#!)
