Introduce yourself

Hi All, new to basically everything that is my 08 STI

Ill go with the template, as you can see all my previous rides are FWD, non turbo, non H-configuration engines

Name: My nickname is actually Deeds...long story
Ride: 08 TBSTI
Location: NSW Sydney's west
Mod: So far I have nothing except a HKS panel filter from Garage 88 and an Si Drive cover
Plans: Looking at various options but I'd really like a Process West TMIC, Turbo back exhaust (Invidia seems to be the only good option at the moment) and possibly a silicone intake pipe. Zero sports Cool Action 2's look pretty cool but not required if I get the PW TMIC. I may delete the resonator and divvy up a flexi tube job to the front bar somewhere if I get around to it. Oh and also a dyno tune once its all done. Nothing too crazy as its a daily.
Occupation: I work in the exciting field of distribution lol but in the Work Health and Safety sector
Year of birth: 1989
Interest: Having a few drinks and a bbq with friends is high on the list, watching sport live or on tv
Previous Rides: 1991 Corolla GTI in gunmetal grey, 1990 Laser TX3 (non-turbo) white, 1997 Golf VR6 Silver, 1999 Pulsar SSS Blue, 2005 Mazda 3 SP23 Yellow, 2010 X-trail ST Grey (CVT Auto... :bad: )

Feel free to ask any questions!

Welcome to the forums. The forum moves slowly these days like most of them due to Facebook groups etc but it's still the greatest quick reference guide you will find. Congratulations on your first real car! ;)
You will have fun with this and the modification bug will bite you.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah the Mod bug is definitely biting and I've changed a few wants for some more sensible and cost effective options.

The Previous owner was a really genuine guy and he had a set of Potenza RE050A's on it, although it does need an alignment.
