New to Subaru's
Posted: Sat Apr 09, 2016 8:24 amI've just purchased an '89 Liberty wagon for my son (Aidan) to play with.
He's 14 and wants to learn about cars and the Subaru came up on Gumtree at a good price so off I went with a trailer to collect it (750Km round trip !)
It has suspected head gasket problems, new gaskets were supplied and so far the list of other problems don't seem to be too bad.
Sway bar link bushes, gearchange bushes, steering wheel & drivers door panel are damaged, the air suspension is a bit sluggish so maybe the compressor needs replacing.
I'm sure the list will grow as we spend more time working on it.......
