Previously had a couple of L series wagons until I got into an SVX!
Was an awesome machine, but I couldn't dedicate enough time to upkeep it (and unfortunately they need it)

Couldn't go back to driving a 4cylinder after the SVX, but didn't want an Outback, I wanted to got back to manual, so here I am.
Will probably spend most of my time in the 3.0 section.
Me?, I'm actually an aviation nut, was looking at Subi motors for aircraft.
I've worked in the RAAF, worked at Bankstown, built a couple of my own ultralights (not Subi powered) and now retired at Taree NSW, building more ultralights and teaching people to fly.
I don't drive a real lot, except when I drive to my parents place in Tassie each year.
The BR wagon is nice for the long trips
Although an Outback might be a little more comfortable, I like the six cylinder smoothness, the 6 speed manual, and the way it hangs onto some of the windey Tassie roads
