Hi all,

Just thought I'd quickly introduce myself to the forum.

My name is Jake and I'm from Melbourne. I just picked up a second hand Subaru Liberty GT Premium, Pearl White in colour with ~45,000kms. Its currently stock however am thinking about doing a couple of minor mods (possibly tune and exhaust) just to get a little more from the Turbo. I'm pretty useless when it comes to my car knowledge so hopefully I'll read and learn as I go.

A picture of my car is attached (hopefully I did it correctly).

I look forward to reading and contributing to the discussions!

Regards,
Jake

Cheers guys, I'm very happy with it.

Looking at how good your two cars look makes me definitely want to do a couple of cosmetic mods just to finish it off however will have to wait a month or two until I can save up the $$$ post-purchase.

Welcome to the forums Jake

Great feature of this forum is that there are plenty of ideas, past experiences and opportunity to ask questions to help you with your research

You can create a member profile in the "Post your mods" section, where you can post up more pics and outline your modding plans for feedback

We have a running list of GenV profiles created, i can add you to the VIC list if you end up creating a profile.

Thanks for the Welcome Sym. That's one awesome looking wagon you got there. Gives me a bunch of ideas and inspiration for things to do to my car.

I'm stil between thoughts on any engine mods for the time being due to 3 year warranty, however thats not to say I cant do any cosmetic ones once I've figured out what would look good. I'm pretty sad though as I really wanted a better sound from the exhaust however looks like I'll need to wait a while for that :-(

That rear spoiler really balances out the rear of that wagon and compliments the front lip nicely. I was thinking a front lip and small rear lip spoiler for my car too however i cant really picture it :-S I saw a Gen V Liberty today running a large spoiler which wasnt really to my taste however each to their own obviously (looked similar to the ones from the Gen 3 B Spec).

I'll jump in and create a profile shortly when I get some new pics and also have a think of what I'd actually like to do.

Cheers,

Jake

The STI lips are ridiculously expensive. Comes to around $700 for a little black bit of plastic. I'd rather double it and get an exhaust or spend the money on coilovers to lower it a bit.
