Bang on the money BillyCorgi. Was there travelling around the west for most of the week. Enjoyed some great back road driving which covered over 1200kms.

Thanks for the tips. The shifter flaps around like a prick in a shirt sleeve to be honest, so it's obviously had a spigot bush flogged out or some such. An annoying buzz/rattle from the shifter under load too. Small thing. So far though, I have to say it's the most fun I've had driving any car. Do you have contact details for the tuner?

Send Matt a PM
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=7166Sounds like the linkage bushes at the rear of the gearbox are clapped out.
Mine was sloppy and made a strange BUZZ and I ended up turning up a new set of bushes and fitting them myself.
Made everything sweet!
Bit if a job though.
Replacing the bushes is mentioned in this thread
