Anyway, I've joined to find out what to expect with Liberty's, maintenance, issues, what to look out for, how to choose a good one.
Expect I'll be spending a lot of time looking through the forum, see what you guys have to say.

I decided on Liberty as a friend had one, was a great car, drove well, comforatble etc.
I was surprised after getting out of the car and not quite closing the door properly, so it closed itself. To be honest I was pretty amazed, not that it's some kind of sci-fi tech, but that the car was well designed, and such a simple little thing, being such a nice touch.

So, now that it's time to get a car, I'm looking at Liberty's, decent power, awd, comfortable, inconspicuous (which is actually pretty high on the list).

So tell me, what kind of issues could I expect with an '06+ (keeping the budget from going too far over 10k).
Looks like I can probably get something from 06-09, maybe 10.
Likely the 3.0 H6, It seems logical it would have more power than 2.5 or 2.0.

And how are the stereo's on these things?
Was expecting to spend a couple of k on a stereo (for driving, not blasting in traffic), audio peeps seem to rate McIntosh, though a car stereo isn't the same as studio equipment.

I was told CV's, clutches, drive shafts can be a bit of a problem.
Was told about issues with engine seals (was a '92 so probably doesn't count, also the guy became a race car driver, so likely 'enthusiast').

I'll be buried in the forums for a while, would appreciate any advice on offer.
