Hi all,

After a quick google search I came across you guys, looks like a nice informative site......kudos.

Long story short is I am trying to do some homework in selling a December 2004 3.0R wagon, it has been utilised by the wife and kids and has done little work for a ~11 year old car, currently on about 145k from memory....a few nics and scratches on the bumpers (as mentioned earlier, it was my wife's daily driver)

Anyways I thought I would pick your brains in regards to selling it, has anyone had any luck selling motors on eBay? Or should I just whack it in car sales?

I am still yet to do my homework in regards to price, I know I have taken a hit on it depreciation wise but you get that with cars, would between 8-10k be achievable? 6 months reg, new tint etc

I have not had a lot of experience with Subarus, especially the Liberty hence my question...

Cheers in advance-

PR

Thanks mate, I appreciate it -

The wagon is auto with cream leather, Mcintosh stereo etc
- all stock, I'm not sure if the 3.0R came out in other variants (I'm guessing they were all cream leather with the same spec ???)

I will get the car re-tinted once back home in Sydney, as well as 1 or 2 door actuators then I'll list it in car sales, thanks once again for the information-

B

All the autos came with cream leather interior.
The Spec-B 6MT manuals were black.
The manuals are the most sought after (no offence meant to existing auto owner/drivers).
The autos normally only had 17 inch wheels and missed out on the good Bilstein suspension.

There is a post on this forum regarding the central locking door actuators.
They can be repaired.
Basically the little electric motors fill full of grease stuff and crud.
The internal miniaturer motors can be flushed out (I flushed mine with WD40 spray and it is working fine) or they can be replaced with new motors purchased off ebay.
