i have a 2008 Subaru Legacy 3.0R from the USA
im here to learn more about the potential of the ez30r and would eventually want to swap it from 5EAT to 5 speed manual, here in the USA all 3.0R come with 5EAT.
I love the car, just wish it had the manual option, would hate to convert to a legacy GT, 4 cly turbo.

Welcome to forums.
Lots of good info here. The 3.0R cars in a manual have a 6 speed box very much like the 2.0Gt-SpecB or Impeza Sti.
Before you go down that path, it may be worth getting a good tune done. Breath some life into the beast.

There is no real aftermarket support for the 3.0R here in the USA.
Ill have to research on here to see what kind of tuning you guys are running to see if it compatible.

Look up Kido Racing or. Extreme Race Tuning in the commercial vendors section. Both reputable tuners. You will need to get yourself a tactrix openport cable and a laptop to load the tunes.
