Actually, I joined a few months ago and then haven't had a chance to post till now.

Anyways... had my Liberty since January. It was 6 mos old when I bought it, so nearly new.

Had it one week and got smashed in the side by a blind van driver. Car sat with the panel beater for 33 days! Finally got it back and two months later got broken into. Mofos ripped my stereo out of the dash, but left it in the car for me to find. Still quite confused about that.

Overall, its been fun driving the car. Miss having a turbo under the hood though :)

I'm a transplant from across the ocean. Here in Oz to live and work for a few years. First Subie for me. Came from Mazda.

No mods (yet) other than tint. I went for 20% all around. Car will probably be lowered in August. Looking to shorten the gear shift, so open to advice on STS's. No plans for new rims (yet).

What else... that's about it. Hope to meet some of you at an upcoming meet.

Welcome mate!

You've picked the right forum to get all the best advice!

Good move from the Mazda mate, I did the same thing.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

I just got in from the photoshoot with Tangcla, and I must say I am really glad I decided to go. Haven't met a more down-to-earth and friendly bunch of guys before to-date, as I did tonight.

Hope to meet more members at an upcoming meet.

I won't bother posting pics of my car. Everyone knows what a bone-stock Liberty sedan looks like :)

Welcome to Australia (and the forum). Fancy meeting a canuck in these parts. Nice to meet you tonight. Thanks for the kind words about the forum folks. Good luck with your one and only allowed mod ... lowering.
