Hows it going guys, been lurking hard for while now leading up to the purchase my liberty. Since becoming the owner of one I thought its about time I join, ask some questions get involved and what not.

Might just follow the layout.

Name: Adam
Ride: MY07 GTB liberty
Location: Sydney
Mods: Apart from the custom gutter rash and a slipping clutch, stock as.
Plans: Around 200kw atw is my goal, been doing abit of research and that seems reasonable while keeping things relatively basic though do correct me if im wrong. I guess thats why im here though, for the guidance and ideas of people who know what there doing. :D
Occupation: Builder/handyman (hate that title)
Year of birth: 93
Interest: Things with motors are pretty cool.
Previous Rides: GC8 wrx wagon, vs holden ute (terrible but practical? Still own this), R33 gts skyline.

So yeah got a liberty the other day, clutch is on its way out and its abit rough around the edges, but the price was right i hope haha.

Feel free to give me some insight and opinions about the car, power, cosmetics, Im all ears/eyes.
Will probably make a topic about power figures/supporting mods and other questions i might have if someone would like to point me out to the correct section.

Hope to talk to guys soon.

Adam~

Welcome aboard. You'll have a lot of fun with the Liberty. I too come from previously owning a WRX and then STi myself and would find it difficult to give up the luxury of the Liberty now. 8)

Are you aiming just for power or to have an all round practical car as a daily and have some weekend fun in? If the latter, don't forget to look at handling mods such as fatter swaybars.

You were born in the year I finished high school too. Sigh... :(
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

Thanks!
Yeah it will be my daily as much as it can be whilst having to drive a work ute. Defiantly want to keep it comfortable/practical, coming from the skyline with stupidly hard/low coilovers and ridiculously loud exhaust something i wont miss.
Swaybars sounds great as it does feel a little boaty (making up words?) atm.
Since ill be pulling it apart a fair bit soon to replace the clutch, i may aswell start the mods from there.
