Well thought I'd write an intro

Just put money down on a my08 liberty gt spec b manual dark grey 80,000kms on the clock

Pick it up this week very excited

Will get some pictures soon
Originally was looking at sti models but this car was neat and local so it sold me!

Going to keep this car for a long time, have wanted one for ages and it's going to be my wedding car so lots of good plans!

I will do the following shortly
Tow bar for the dirt bike and jetski
Rims and lowering
Phat gt dump if they still exist?
Finish the exhaust with hi tech system if this works?
Avo intercooler (TMIC)
Tune to suit not sure who by yet (kido or hpf or msr) come to mind
Sway bar maybe
SPIEZ plates I already have
Change grill to a jdm or aftermarket one

After testing sti cars I def felt a drop in power going to a spec b but after some mods I think it will tow my bikes and ski without any trouble ha ha

Thanks to all the forum guys for the info leading to finding my car

Cheers Michael

Congrats Michael

You would have not noticed really any diff in power between a stock spec b and an sti IMO

Were you looking for the wagon?
Where did you find the car? If it's a sedan would explain why carsales didn't tell me about it!

Well got the car home safe now and very happy!

Will put up a picture soon just got to do that from PC ipad won't play the game!

After the 1.5 hour dive home I don't think the power difference between an sti is that bad anymore but I am looking forward to a tune for some better response feels like the car is being held back from what it could be :)

Pics soon!

I reckon they would look awesome, but you'd need to paint your grille to match the amount of black with the wheels.

Another wheel I like is the rota gravels. Look them up

Looking at a jdm honeycomb grill and aftermarket ones

Yeah I like the rota wheels

Not sure if I want 18s or 19s yet the car has brand new tyres on the current 18in rims and 18s ride nicer but 19s look sexy haha

yeah I am of the same mind. The 19's look awesome. But for more practicalities sake, I'm gonna stick with the 18's. I wish the Spec B rims came in an 8" wide wheel. The extra width would have made a huge difference with tire selection and grip.
