Recently purchased a Subaru liberty gt spec b 2007 (MY08) and absolutely love it! (via a few setbacks)
As much as i love it, it has been a lemon to me so far
Within 1 month i blew a piston, cause thought to be fuel contamination. Replaced the shortblock with the sti shortblock, and new stock everything except i added the vf52 turbo to it and had it tuned
2 months after the new engine, 3 pistons blew
found out the 02 sensor messed up the ecu (which also caused the first blow)
Engine was replaced by mechanic with manley racing pistons/rods the works and retuned and so far not another problem!! *crossing fingers*
