Hi all. New to the forum and a quick intro

Hi everyone. I just got my first subaru off an old friend. Ive always loved the look of the liberty and stoked I've finally acquired one. I just got a MY06 liberty 2.0 5spd manual. Everything is stock standard but my mate chucked in a few freebies. He gave me a box of Endless brake pads as well as a "computer chip". Something I would like you guys to help me identify :roll:

Here's the part I need help identified. The box that it came in (not sure if its the original box) says STI ECU-MT
