Why does everything connected with this car have to be such a pain. Ordered the conrods from PPM in Aus, who have yet to ship them or even acknowledge the order but have taken the money. Grrrrrr

Finally some good news, the conrods and pistons have all arrived so the engine should be back together in a few more weeks.
Having had a look at the new conrods if I break these then the engine will be in a thousand pieces.
Can't wait to get behind the steering wheel again.

The rod is identical to the oem one in length etc.
Company called API is doing the build they have plenty of experience but they did f##k up my previous engine thismismtheir chance to get it right, its not costing me anything.

The new stuff you have sure does make the OEM stuff look flimsy at best.

I am watching this biuld and waiting for fnal effects inpatiently.
Have Same engine which will be rotrex supercharged soon so checkingother projects. Did you use ecutek to remap it prevoiusly? Ecutek is f@#@ expensive so I am looking for a cheaper alternative.

How annoying. Still, this is why its always important to dummy assemble when fitting non std parts.
