When collecting your car from the workshop it would really help if you give them the key that opperstes all the car functions especially the immobiliser 
But life would be dull if everything worked first turn of the key.

Congrats on getting your car back after such a long time.
Just stick to the B roads for the next 800 miles. The variances in speeds should help run-in the motor better than just cruising up and down motorways.

Whilst the car was away being fixed I acquired a few essentials 
Fitted the first of these today which are smoked tail lights, I think they work well with the rest of the car.

Yeah its been a long time coming. Just having to start the mapping all over again, from the small amount of logging done so far Matt reckons this motor is going to produce some more power.

So finally found the time to drop the oil and put in some fresh stuff.
Have decided to still limit the revs to 5500rpm for the next few hundred miles.
Have been out and tried a couple of WOT to my new rev limit and all I can is .........hell yes!

Not a happy Christmas, the new engine with less than 1600 miles on it has died, sounds like something in the top end. Currently waiting for engine shop to collect and provide a loan car.

Going to insist on being present at strip down. Motor was feeling strong she had made 380hp with only 7psi.
