Re-introducing myself.
Posted: Wed Mar 19, 2014 11:27 amHi everyone. My names Kobi. I signed up a while ago when I was thinking of buying a gen 1 wagon. Since signing up, I have owned three liberty wagons.
The first was a beat up gx, that I planned on swapping Wrx running gear into.
I didn't get very far with the product before a gx that had already been converted came up for less money than it was going to cost to finish mine, so I thought bugger it and bought it.
Overall it was a good car with a couple of mods (suspension, boost controller, td05 turbo, sti tune etc) and was just I need of a good cleanup. I set about replacing damaged interior prices with ones from my original project car, drove it round for a week, nearly killed myself trying to drift it, (I've always owned rwd's) and just generally had fun with it. A week after buying it though, a guy who I'd gone to school with said he wanted to buy it and offered me a fair bit more than I had payed for it. So less than two weeks of ownership an it was sold.
I tossed around a couple of ideas for what to get next, and eventually ended up with a genuine Australian delivered rs, running an sti motor and box, some form of upgraded suspension and brakes, whiteline sway bars and Wrx wheels and seats.
Hopefully I can hang on to this one for a while
