hey guys. ive been on a few liberty forums over the years, owned a few liberties, GX to RS Conversion, GEN3 autosalon spec, got an 03 WRX and a 2012 WRX hatch daily drivers, been building another GEN 3 show/street car for the last couple of years and also picked up another 01 Gen 3 last week. Here are a couple of pics and specs of my current project

Hopefully be finished by the end of the year.
2001 liberty
Chev 434 supercharged with 8-71 blower shop supercharger
Custom 22" billets made by Bonspeed in the states
Full fiberglass trim built by me including auto meter dash cluster
Wilwood brakes
Manualised turbo 400 gearbox
9inch 4link rear end mini tubbed
Custom made sump so the front end remains untouched, standard crossmember with tein coilovers and WRX wilwood upgrade kit
No colour has been chosen yet and this car has been completely built by myself and my mates no workshops involved as all they do is take your money and not do any work as alot of people i know, myself included have experienced.
Building this for ME and to be driven on the street just like all my cars have been about!

Not a huge fan of the wheels but otherwise nice work.

Mate this is unbelievable

By far my favourite subie build to date

Subscribed and very much looking forward to the end result

Quick question for you - which shrink are you seeing as you are clearly a nutter?

Seriously though - will this be registered as an ICV? What are you doing for four link mount positions given you are removing the entire rear IRS cradle? I'm assuming some flat bar rails extended from front chassis rails to back and over the diff into boot? Would be interested to see the undercarriage once done.

Will also pm about glass work - might see if you can help out with some glass work for my gemi which I was going to give to a shop to do anyway

Mick

 Absolutely f###ing ridiculous :P , but I like it.

An idea, belief and determination and anythings possible - "marvellous effort that" to quote the great man in the beige safari suit.

Will be watching it unfold.

Any issues the Liberty ever had with understeer will be well and truly the last thing on your mind. It's nuts. You're nuts. I don't know what possess you. Can't wait to see it finished.

mate, that is awesome... can't wait to see your build pics as you go along...

From the pics you have posted so far, I dont thing you goal of "to be driven on the street" if realistisc.... unless I am way out of touch with the road rules... but hey good luck, just hope you dont get impounded and lose your ride...

Cheers...
