New Gen 2 Liberty with WRX swap.

I had a 1998 Bilstien Edition Liberty when I was 17 and it was basically the car that got me into cars.
Image It was identical to this one.
I always wanted to do a wrx swap but could never afford it. 7 years later and with a full time job I spotted this red liberty on stockies on gumtree. I went and checked it out and brought it immediately.
The car had a wrx swap and looked very clean inside and out.

First mod was some wrx rims I scored for $200 I plan on getting them painted gold or charcoal.

Also did some headlight restoration

A problem came when I cranked the boost up on the old pre 97 wrx motor. It started to miss abit under WOT. I then looked into it and found out that the Coil on plug coils like to crack. Took them off about an hour ago and the rubber appears to be split on 3 of them. Ive just ordered some used 04 wrx coils and plan on doing the mod to make them work. Hopefully this fixes the problem.

There also feels like there is some drivetrain slop, hard to describe but sort of clunks abit when you change gear. I had a similar problem on my old SR20det swapped n14 and it turned out to be engine and gearbox mounts. Does this sound likely? How hard is it to change those on the suby?

Mate awesome colour and it looks tidy as well.

If you are mechanically minded and have the correct tools, nothing is too hard

I would get it up in a hoist and check all the bushes/mounts etc

Keep us updated
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

Oh wow that coil swap made the car a million times better, off boost driving heaps better and the miss is gone completely, even sounds better

Anyone know what sort of dump pipe i need for these old wrx ej20gs?

The car is running just a cat back with the intake silencer taken out any. Its running about 11psi any ideas on what it could do safely?
