Hi all,

Purchased a 2007 MY08 Spec B 3.0L MANUAL Wagon yesterday to replace my 03 RS Impreza sedan (which will be for sale shortly)

The wagon is Pearl White with 122000km on it
It included optional mesh grill, roof racks, towbar, genuine rubber wagon liner and a fitted (but removable) vinyl rear seat cover - I have a 2 yr old and one on the way so this will protect the leather from car seats, food, drink spills, and general childhood bodily fluids

I am loving it so far, but hey I already knew it would be good after the Impreza. I'm a Suby die hard now I guess.

The information on here was most helpful while doing my research on these cars.

Top choice... You'll have fun going up and down OBR with it... I know I do...

Mitchells Pass used to be quite fun before it was made a 40 zone as well.

The car was already in the mountains, I bought it through carsales, but the couple turned out to be customers of my business - how funny is that.

Old bathurst Road is tops, almost as good as Hawkesbury Rd.....

Welcome mate, nice pickup - and I see from your sig you also ride a Thundercat - sweet.

The old girl (Thundercat) has 115,000 km on her but still starts first go. Comfortable so you can spend all day on her and still be able to walk when you get off her.
She is a little tired and in need of some TLC but I still get out when I have a chance.

Yamaha racing blue and white colours.

I've had her around 7 years, and bought her with 70,000km

I have the photos when the odometer showed 99999.9km and then rode up the road and another photo showing 00000.0km - old bike then all new again - gotta love the old 5 digit odometers

Agree, OBR, Hawkesbury Rd and Mitchells Pass are all good to drive... Shame they are so short!

I remember being followed by a V8 Calais up Hawkesbury Rd shortly after getting my spec. B... I think he was genuinely surprised how quick the Liberty was as he was struggling to keep up around the corners... Gave me a wave as he turned off somewhere around Winmalee...

The SPEC b doesn't seem as chuckable as my impreza, but gotta get used to it. I'm gunna miss the boxer burble from the UEL headers and diff back zorst though. Heal toeing into the hawkesbury rd hairpins. No excuses for not hearing mecreak up behind someone.
Lib is definately better handling than the wife's ba xr6 manual though.

You want heal/toe bliss??? Try doing it in a Subaru Sherpa and riding the understeer through the hairpins... So much win.

You may need to balance that understeer out with a few applications of handbrake

Here we go.. time to mod the exhaust. Of course we can mode uneven headers into a y pipe and twin exhaust and sound like the impreza. Sound better look better and comfortable... Liberty...

I would be happy to mod the exhaust, and I know our 2 yr old boy would love it too. He looooooooooooves daddy's noisy car.
But the "handbrake" has spoken and said "no exhaust this time darling, please".

Maybe I'll just get a tune instead. If she can't hear it, she won't know about it.

I too have a 'handbrake' and 2 kids so def get the 'not happening' !!! Hahahah

You have to find a 'broken' bit that you 'have to fix' !!

Only way.

And by the way I love your thoughts with the handbrake application in the Sherpa ..... You will fit in well here !
