DWBN - 2006 3.0R-B 153 kw

Postby DWBN » Mon Jun 17, 2013 4:19 pm

Hi all,

Ive been an active member on RSLC for a number of years before moving to Canada for the last two years. Having recently returned I needed another liberty and was tossing up between the GT and 3.0. After a month or so of looking, I picked up a 2006 3.0R-B silver sedan from SA. The vehicle was previously owned by a Liberty asn forum member.

So far the only thing which I have changed is the exhaust (which is still a work in progress) and put some new tyres on. Future plans in the next six months involve post face lift rear end and boost.

Looking forward to meeting the members on here and getting involved in the forum.

Cheers,
Dave

Welcome aboard Dave (Still Wants Boost.. :D)

Have you done many miles in a stock one to compare it to the XRT tune?
or flashed back a stock tune for comparison?

Hey Rob,

I've driven a stock one with similar mods and they are two different animals. Mine gives you a kick at 3500 and holds it right to red line whereas stock with mods (no tune) is much more linear - still aggressive though.

The tune on mine is ok, but needs some work as there are a few flat spots, DBW hasn't been touched etc. All up a great package, with a lot of head room for improvements.
