Name is Ian and I Just picked up a 2010 Liberty GT Gen5, White, 27,000 klm, stock standard.

First Subaru and loving it so far - has all the gadgets and they all work (previously had an Audi )

1st mods will be some wheels (black or gun metal colour) and a boot lip spoiler.

Hi Ian and welcome to the forums ...... and as Brett said - see if you can make the GenV meet on 29th September (a good way to meet fellow local lib owners, all generations)

re wheel colour, my opinion would be to go gunmetal (or other darkish colour) over black...... black is a bit plain

lots of knowledge. opinions and banter on the forums..... Don't let the GenV jokes put you off, most of it is just playful banter. Think of them as bad smells = harmless, sometimes funny, and always lingering

Thanks all, will see if I can make it on the 29th. Have ordered Gunmetal wheels and have already put on a STI grill and a rear spoiler. Overall very happy with the car

Welcome Ian, Gunmetal wheels will look horn and nothin' wrong with a GenV! (I'm biased )
