Better late then never...

Postby MelsGT » Mon Apr 22, 2013 7:30 pm

Hey guys,

Thought I'd do a "better late then never" introduction. Am on fb but not on here all that much.

Name: Mel
Location: North Ryde NSW - born and bread in Newcastle but
Occupation: workshop consultant - no hate but at MRT performance
Current car(s): 2010 GT liberty and 1982 Holden Gemini
Previous cars: from the start, Toyota corona, Hyundai elantra sports, Hyundai excel, Honda jazz, Toyota Prado and another Gemini
Current mods on the liberty: ecutek tune, blow off valve, front and rear sway bars, LED interior and number plate lights, plastidipped purple 18" rims
On the shopping list: exhaust system, coil overs, halos, brembos, slotted rotors, more handling, custom paint job... The list goes on

What else? Umm love driving, if you see me feel free to beep and race me :) love my rally driving, wouldn't give it up for anything.

So there's my intro, deed is done. Hi all!

My geminis are/were both rally cars. The first one I bent the front end hitting an embankment and when we were looking at the damage we discovered the majority of the panels (including the roof/A pillars) were held on by old mud, so reshelled it with my new red one :)
Love my Gemini :)

Buddah - not really, being a girl it's a little more acceptable. Just can't decide what colour to go next :)

Gday Mel and welcome!!

I'm only up the road in Marsfield, so I'll be on the lookout :D I'm in a Gen V GT Wagon also.....

If I'm not up for a race, its probably because I'm sporting the 'Baby on Board' sign in the back window
