Hi my name is Rob
I have an MY10 Liberty GT on its way to becoming an Australian version of the JDM tS and I live in Perth.
My past Subarus have been MY98 & MY00 WRX, and an MY06 3R-B. Have upgraded the current Liberty with Japanese STi imports from wheels, suspension and exhaust and now want to remap the ECU. I am thinking about the ECUTEK package and wondered if anyone out there has tried this on the MY10 GT?
Also selling my OEM 18" GT wheels if anyone is interested - will post soon.
Cheers
Rob

Welcome mate and we need some pics of your baby!!
And you will find that MRT is blasphemy on this forum and needs to be avoided at all costs.

Hi Rob and welcome to the forums
Be sure to post up some pics!... I too have followed a similar GenV upgrade path with springs, wheels etc and most recently with a rear swaybar being installed over the next week/two
I didnt get my tune done via ecutek, but I did hear that MRT apply some sort of "lock" after applying their ecutek remapping, so that only they can unlock it or to make any changes. Would be a good thing to check with the tuner that you ultimately go with - and as boostaddict said, I havent heard many (if at all) positive things about MRT sydney

hi Simon and Daniel
Yes, will get photos up as soon as I get the wheels and springs fitted, in the next few weeks (I hope).
Thanks for the advice on MRT locking the software - being in Perth I have trusted Maximum Motor sport for many years with good advice, so will get their opinion before deciding on ECU treatment and best options - Gen 5 certainly needs remapping!
Cheers
Rob
